John Collins

  • 1 ½ oz. gin
  • 1 oz. lemon juice
  • ½ oz. sugar syrup
  • 2 oz. carbonated water
  • ½ cup ice
  • a dash angostura bitters
  • 1 slice of lemon
  • 1 maraschino cherry

Into a glass add the gin, lemon juice, sugar syrup, carbonated water, and ice.
Using a stirrer mix the cocktail well then top with a dash of angostura bitters.
Serve garnished with a slice of lemon and a single maraschino cherry.
